EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

RESTITUTION FOR VICTIMS

A defendant may be ordered to repay a victim at least partially for financial losses under certain circumstances.  In General District Court cases only, the Victim/Witness Program handles collection restitution payments and sending them to victims.  The Program also files violation reports with the General District Court for cases in the defendant has not made restitution payments as ordered.

Restitution ordered by the Arlington County Circuit Court is handled through the Circuit Court Clerk's Office.

Restitution ordered by the Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court is handled by the Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court Clerk's Office.
